Glen H. Trivette, age 79, of 919 Medical Park Drive, Mountain City formally of 856 Dogget Road, West Jefferson, N. C. passed away, Tuesday, December 30, 2003, in the Mountain City Care Center following a lengthly illness. Mr. Trivette was a native of Creston, N. C. and was A Son of the late Dewey and Carrie Sluder Trivette. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Oliver Trivette and also by a sister, Mae Sutherland. He was Owner and Operator of Glen's Appliance in West Jefferson and was a former Deacon and Member of the Buffalo Baptist Church in Smithport, N. C. Survivors: (2) Half-Sisters: Cora Lee and Pauline (2) Half-Brothers: George and Bert Several Nieces and Nephews also survived. Henson Funeral Home in charge of the Arrangements. Funeral services for Glen H. Trivette, age 79, of Mountain City will be held 7:30 P. M. Wednesday from the Chapel of the Henson Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Morefield and Rev. Dean Watson to officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park , Mountain City, Tenn. The family will receive Friends from 6:30 P. M. till 7:30 P. M. Wednesday at the Funeral Home Chapel.
