Goldie Silva

Goldie Silva, age 91, of 26 Treetop Lane, Banner Elk, North Carolina, passed away Friday, May 28, 2004 at the Life Care Center of Banner Elk. A native of Quincy, Massachusetts, she was born April 16, 1913 to the late Lumad Griswald. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Silva. Goldie was a former Motel Operator. She is survived by one son John A. Silva and wife Nancy of Banner Elk, North Carolina; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Graveside Services and Interment for Goldie will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2004 from the Silva Family Cemetery.
