Goldie Reece Wood

Goldie Reece Wood, age 71, of 572 Grover Reece Road, Trade, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, November 09, 2003 at her home. A native of Johnson County, she was born May 31, 1932 to the late Grover Thomas Reece and Nancy Rosella Miller. Goldie was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Wood, one daughter; Gail Osborne, one son; Anthony "Tony" Wood, two sisters; Violet Pennington and Maisie Nichols and two brothers; Bill Reece and Arlie Reece. She enjoyed flowers and attended the Ackerson Creek Christian Church. Goldie is survived by: one daughter; Patricia Scott, one son; Gary Osborne, both of Mountain City, Tennessee, three sisters; Mary Neal of Bluff City, Tennessee, Nell Moser of Mountain City, Tennessee and Kate Baker of Trade, Tennessee, three brothers; Clay Reece, E.J. Reece and Steve Reece all of Trade, Tennessee, three grandchildren; Nikki Scott, Amanda Osborne and Wayne Osborne, several nieces and nephews and special friends Tula Wilson and Bob Lewis. Funeral Services for Goldie Reece Wood will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 1003 from the Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Bill Reece to officiate. Family will receive friends 7-8:00 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir, North Carolina. Active Pallbearers will be nephews.
