Grace Dugger

March 8, 1943 — December 16, 2024

Grace Dugger, age 81, of Blountville, Tennessee, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at her residence.  She was born March 8, 1943 in Boone, North Carolina to the late Albert Reece and Nellie Mae Richardson Reece.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Howard Dugger; a grandchild, David Dugger, and her brothers and sisters.

Grace was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.  She enjoyed gardening and sewing.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three daughters, Nancy Dugger Daniels of Floyd, Virginia; Brenda Cox of Bristol, Tennessee and Linda Jaynes of Limestone, Tennessee; three sons, Jessie Dugger of Bluff City, Tennessee, Mark Dugger of Blountville, Tennessee and Danny Gentry of Bluff City, Tennessee.  Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

A Funeral service for Grace will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Jeff  Millsap officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.  A graveside service will follow at Bakers Gap Cemetery.
