Obituary: Grace Eller Ms. Grace Eller, age 94, of 891 Shingletown Road, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away peacefully on Friday morning April 8, 2011 at her residence. She is the daughter of the late Isaac Garfield Allen and Ida Mae Sexton Allen. Ms. Eller was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included: Quilting and Gardening. She loved traveling to the Great Smokey Mountains with Bernice, JoAnne and Minnie. Ms. Eller also worked in a military defense plant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four sisters, Betty Pearl Owens, Kay Carr, Minnie Smith, and Ruth Breeding. Two nieces; Bernice McFadden and JoAnne Profitt. Survivors include: her son Frank Eller of Mountain City, Tennessee; two grandchildren: Gregg Eller of Mountain City, Tennessee, and Lisa Eller also of Mountain City, Tennessee; two great-grandsons: Kevin and David Eller both of Mountain City. Special friend and great niece Daphne Meadows of Mountain City, Tennessee. Several nieces, nephews and many special friends are included. Funeral Services for Ms. Eller will be held on Sunday April 10, 2011 at 2 p.m. from the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Minister Thomas Prater officiating. Graveside service for Grace Eller will be held Sunday, April 10, 2011 following the funeral services from the Wesley Cemetery. Visitation will be from the East Side Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home of Mountain City, Saturday, April 9,2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Active pallbearers will be Lonie Owens, Gary Carlton, Bill Carlton, Jr., Terry Reed, Robbie Carlson, Frankie Owens and Ralph Eastridge. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Carlson, Doyle Carlson, Barry Garland, Mark Carlson and Ray Allen. At other times friends may call at her residence 891 Shingletown Road, Mountain City, Tennessee.
