Guy Junior Borror

Guy Junior Borror, age 67, of 4166 Hwy 67 West, Mountain City, TN passed away Saturday evening, September 10, 2011 in Johnson City Medical Center. He was a son of the late Charles and Goldie Alt Borror. Guy was a member of Life Christian Fellowship and he loved fishing, hunting and farming. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Christopher Guy Borror; two sisters: Virginia and Mary; and two brothers: Randall and Roger. Survivors include: his wife, Linda Borror, of the home; daughters: Tina Reece and husband Brad of Mountain City, TN; Lydia Borror of the home; Teresa Shaffer, Wanda Borror, Melody Borror, Sharon Keplinger, Bonnie Wittenberg and Betty Towles and husband Jimmy; son: Richard Wittenberg and wife Karen; former wife and good friend: Ruth Borror; four sisters: June Ann, Ruby, Jane and Jeannie; four brothers: Billy, Emmett, Pat and Bruce; grandchildren: Gabe, Gavin and Graham Reece, Richard and Kaylee Wittenberg, Becky Morefield, all of Mountain City, TN and eleven grandchildren living out of state; one great grandson: Joseph Morefield and several nieces and nephews. His special friend was his brother Bruce. Funeral services for Guy Junior Borror will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Randy McClure officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from the Sunset Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Richard Wittenberg, Richard Wittenberg II, Brad Reece, Ray Oliver, Tom Reece, Dwayne Arney, Emory Davis and Homer Vanover. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Jim Shine, Jimmy Towles and Arlie Mains. We will assemble at 12:30 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
