Hattie Mildred Eller, age 87, of 402 Fairhaven Street, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2004 at her residence following an extended illness. A native of Ashe County, North Carolina, she was born on December 8, 1916 to the late James E. and Maggie Eastridge Ham. In addition to her parents, Hattie was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell Ham, Joseph Ham and John Ham. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. Hattie was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Denver Dee Eller of the home; one son, Denver Carl Eller and wife Ethel Marie Eller of Mountain City, Tennessee; four granddaughters, Sharon Lester, Pamela Howell, Carline Frye and Debbie Roberts; one grandson, Denver Carl Eller Jr.; two step grandsons, Billy Norris and Jimmy Norris; four great grandchildren, Joshua Goodson, Megan Jade Goodson, Steven Parker and Denver Chase Eller; one great step granddaughter, Sara Lester; four great step grandsons, James and Justin Norris, Curtiss Goodson and Eric Lester. Several Nieces, Nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Hattie will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2004 from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Norman Reece to officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. prior to Services. Graveside Services and Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2004 from the Sunset Memorial Park.
