Mrs. Hazel Branch, age 95, of Butler, TN passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Ethel Garland Stout. Hazel was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed canning, cooking, farming, gardening, reading her Bible and her church where she was a former Sunday School teacher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill T. Branch; one daughter: Lola Arnold; and four sons: Wayne, David, Bobby and Franklin.
Survivors include: four daughters: Shirley Wagner of Butler TN; Barbara Campbell and husband Earl of mountain City, TN; Brenda Garland and husband Danny of Butler, TN; and Nancy Guinn and husband Hearly of Mountain City, TN; one son: Blaine Branch of Butler TN; twenty-one grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Special friends Tootsie Roberts, Barry Pleasant and numerous other friends also survive.
A funeral service for Mrs. Branch will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. R.L. Poole, Rev. Roy Wilson, Rev. Roy Dowell and Rev. Albert Perkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be: Hearly Guinn, Danny Garland, Danny Stout, Floyd Fenner and Barry Pleasant. Honorary pallbearers will be: Grandchildren, great grandchildren Daniel Jones, Brian Roark, Bud Reece, Gary Stout, Dan Lipford, Jim Brewer, David Holman and Jerry Roark. The family would like to extend a special thank you to caregivers Valerie, Kevin, Brandon and everyone else who helped her with the days she had left.
