Helen Ruth Triplett

Helen Ruth Lowe Triplett, age 93, of Elizabethton, Tennessee passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 at the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Johnson County, Tennessee, she was born November 9, 1930 to the late James and Gladys Lowe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glasco Triplett; son, Jerry Triplett; and sister, Suma Reece.

Helen was a charter member of Bethany Baptist Church, Mountain City, Tennessee. She was retired from Johnson County High School where she worked in the cafeteria.

Survivors include three daughters, Janet Greene and husband Don, Bristol, Tennessee; Susan Broyles, Johnson City, Tennessee; and Martha O’Quinn and husband Harry, Johnson City, Tennessee; one son, Glenn Triplett, Jefferson City, Tennessee; two granddaughters, Jeri Cox and Stacy Triplett; one grandson, Donnie Greene; three great-granddaughters, Samantha Dotson, Cheyenne Cox and Courtney Smith; two great-great-granddaughters, Heather Dotson and Liberty Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Reece Memorial Cemetery, Mountain City, Tennessee with Pastor Richard Stout officiating. Music will be provided by Cheyenne Cox. Burial will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.

Friends may register their presence at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m. Friday. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
