Herbert "Squeak" Icenhour

Herbert "Squeak" Icenhour, age 78, of 2053 Berry Branch Road, Mountain City, TN passed away at the Johnson County Community Hospital on Sunday, October 20, 2013. He was a son of the late Charlie and Hester Dunn Icenhour. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved spending time with his great grandchildren, raising a garden and hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Wilcox Icenhour, on November 25, 2011; one daughter, Linda Cornett, in April 14, 1999; four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include: one brother: Fred Icenhour of Mountain City, TN; one grandchild: Rachel Hatley and husband Carl of Mountain City, TN; two great grandchildren: Malaki and Jillian Hatley. Funeral services for Herbert "Squeak" Icenhour will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013 from Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Spencer and Rev. Rick Thomason officiating. Music will be provided by the church choir and Lindsey DeBord. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2013 from Johnson Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Carl Hatley, Malaki Hatley, Rick Potter, Bill Icenhour, Tom Icenhour, Chani Icenhour, Gene Heaton and Chris Greene. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Trivette, Ted Hodge, Russell Morefield, Billy Ray Icenhour, Kenny Snyder, Mike Cornett and Calvary Men's Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, TN 37683. At other times friends may call at the residence 2053 Berry Branch Road, Mountain City, TN.
