Hope C. Arnold

Hope C. Arnold, age 69, of 1485 Pleasant Valley Road, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away Thursday morning April 6, 2006 at her residence, following an extended illness. Hope was born on March 15, 1937 in New Jersey but had made her home in Johnson County for the past several years. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Arnold, who passed away in 1998, her parents and one grandson, Bobby Thomas. Hope was a former employee of Leco and the Blue Ridge Shoe Company and was a homemaker. She attended the Antioch Baptist Church and loved Tennessee football. She is survived by one daughter: Doris Vanover and Mark Guinn of Mountain City, Tennessee; three sons: Billy Arnold and wife Linda of Ashe County, NC, Buddy Arnold and wife Tammy of Mountain City, TN and Robert Arnold and wife Teresa of Mountain City. Fifteen grandchildren also survive Funeral Services for Hope C. Arnold will be held at 2:00 p. m. Sunday, April 9, 2006 from the chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Mr. Kevin Colbaugh to officiate. Burial will be in the Arnold Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 p. m. on Sunday, prior to Services. At other times friends may call at the residence, 1485 Pleasant Valley Road, Mountain City, TN 37683.
