Iva Lea Hodge

Iva Lea Hodge, age 93, of 280 J. Wills Lane, Mountain City, TN passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 at the Mountain City Care Center.
She was born June 5, 1923 to the late Kelly Emmerson Osborne and Dessie Roark Osborne .
In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her late husband William S. Hodge; brothers: Ray Osborne, Rex Osborne, Dwight Osborne, Harry Osborne and Robert Osborne; sisters: Astor Ivy, Beatrice Price, Lena Ball and Queen Grubb.
She attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting and reading. Ms. Hodge worked at Pocopson Care Center in West Chester, PA until her retirement.
Surviving loved ones include: Several Nieces and Nephews; sisters-in-law: Mary Osborne, Bonnie Jones and Jerry Lanham.
Funeral service for Iva Lea Hodge will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Friday, March 03, 2017 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Spencer to officiate.
The family will receive friends from 11:30 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment will follow service in Sunset Memorial Park
Active pallbearers will be: Gary Osborne, Edwin Price, Gary Wills and Stacy Osborne. Honorary pallbearers will be: Dr. Robert Griffith and Daniel Jones.
