Ivalee Robinson

March 2, 1938 — April 18, 2019

Ivalee Robinson, age 81, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019, at the Johnson City Medical Center.  Ivalee was born March 2, 1938, to the late General Lee Brown and Dovie Ivalee Pennell Brown.   She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Robinson; daughter Ellen Robinson; brothers Raleigh Brown, Ed Brown and Earl Brown; sister, Julie Mae Hodge; grandchildren William Isaacs and Jennifer Holman. Ivalee enjoyed spending time with her family and was a member of the Centerview Church of Christ. She also enjoyed reading, camping, and planting flowers in her garden. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Sharon Laws, and husband Gene, of Villas, NC and Mary J. Holman of Trade, TN; a son Jeff Robinson, and wife Debby, of Trade, TN; sisters Veralee Brown of Trade, TN and Faye Hodge of Morganton, NC; grandchildren Cody Laws, Gary Laws, Charlotte Corum, Wesley Isaacs, Christopher Holman, Stevie Holman, Brook Robinson, Libby Robinson, Roy Fritz, Allicia Ruedigger, and Johnathon Arnold; great-grandchildren Hailey Shepard, Kailey Holman, Kyle Isaacs, Zaidin Corum, and Justice Corum; several nieces and nephews; special friends Joe Hollyfield, James Harmon, Bobby Holman, Kenneth Johnson, CJ Lewis, Charlie Kilgore, and Emma Garcia. Pallbearers will be Aaron Brown, Joe Hollyfield, James Harmon, Bobby Hollman, CJ Lewis, and Charlie Kilgore. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Johnson, Amedisys Hospice, and the Staff of Johnson County Rescue Squad. Funeral services for Ivalee will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, in the Charlie B. Hux Memorial Chapel.  Visitation will be from 1pm – 2pm prior to service. Graveside service and burial will be held following funeral service at Reece Cemetery on Bulldog Road, Trade, TN. At other times, the family will receive friends at her sister’s residence, 1189 Modock Road, Trade, TN.
