J. R. Stout,age 60, of 209 Shoun Street, Mountain City passed away, March l7, 2003, at his Residence. He was a Native of Johnson County and was born November 22, 1942 to the late Marshal Stout and Mrs. Ruth Norris Stout of Mountain City . He was a Retired Employee of Sara Lee's and was a Member of the Mountain City Church of Christ. He was Preceded in death By (2) Brothers, Ronda Stout and Billy Ray Stout. Survivors: other than Mother: (1) Son: John Stout, Kingsport, Tenn. (1) Sister: Betty Jean Roberts, Mountain City (2) Brothers: Jack Stout, Mountain City Jimmy Stout, Mountain City (3) Grandchildren: Lottie Rae Stout, Kingsport, Tenn. Zoe Stout, Kingsport, Tenn. Several Nieces and Nephews Hux-Lipford Funeral Home in charge of the Arrangements. Graveside services for J. R. Stout, age 60, of 209 Shoun Street, Mountain City Will be held 10:00 A. M. Wednesday from the Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Leonard Fletcher to officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park Pallbearers will be: Jack Stout, Billy Jack Stout, Mark Roberts, Tim Roberts, Michael Stout, Howard Stout The family will receive Friends from 6 till 8:00 P. M. Tuesday at the Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may call at the Home of his Sister, Betty Jean Roberts, 311 Melvin Brown Lane, Mountain City at anytime.
