James Kimble Clemmons, “Kim” or “Pepper” to those who knew him best, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2019 at Skyline Medical Center. James was born October 25, 1964, to James Lee and Margaret Kidd Clemmons.
James was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Clemmons and a son, Joshua Campbell.
James was a graduate of Mt. Juliet High School (Class of ’82) and went on to ITT Technical Institute. He spent his working years following in the footsteps of many relatives, including his father, Uncle Buford, Uncle Alger, and Ferrante “Tay” Clemmons.
He met his lovely, loving wife, Miranda, on November 5, 2011, on a blind date. They were joined in Holy Matrimony on Aug 23, 2014. James professed a hope in Christ at an early age at Rutland Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. James Howard Clemmons.
Those left to cherish his memories are his devoted and loving wife, Miranda; devoted mother, Margaret (John) Smith; children; Kionna, John Ross, Jeremiah, La Titus, Ashley, Jarvis, Matthew, Shaunkara, Kiara, Kiyasha; seventeen grandchildren; siblings; Marcus Clemmons, Stephanie (Michael) McClain, Glenda Clemmons, Tammie (Anthony) White, and Natalie Spencer, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
I bade no one a last farewell, not even a goodbye, I was gone before you knew it and only God knows why. –Kim
A memorial service will be held for James, a.k.a. Kim or Pepper, at 12:00pm on Saturday, April 6th, 2019, at Amazing Grace Christian Fellowship, 1923 HWY 421, Mountain City, TN.
