James H Eastridge

James H. Eastridge, age 84, formerly of Mountain City, TN. passed away in Fairfield, Ohio on Wednesday, August 3, 2011. His parents were Dewey Eastridge and Laura Graybeal Eastridge. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Tester Eastridge, a sister, Bertha Eastridge, a brother, Conley Eastridge and one grandson, Jason Christophel. Mr. Eastridge was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a World War II United States Army Veteran and he enjoyed working crosswords, gardening and walking. He is survived by two daughters: Teresa Elrod and Debbie Christophel and husband Carl of Fairfield, Ohio. Two grandchildren: Kyle Christophel and Josh Elrod. Three great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for James H. Eastridge will be conducted Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Norman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment will be held following the funeral service at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
