James Lawrence "Jim" Wolfe, age 58, of 11790 Hwy 67 West, Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born on June 25, 1948 in Mountain City, Tennessee to the late William Lawrence Wolfe, who was a POW during World War II and to Hassie Dugger Wolfe of Mountain City, Tennessee. Jim loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. He also was a collector of Indian artifacts. In addition to his mother, Hassie Dugger Wolfe, Jim is survived by his daughter, Janie Lee Carroll and husband Benny; one granddaughter, HayLee Autumn Carroll,, all of Butler, Tennessee; one sister, Sharon Potter of Zionsville, North Carolina; two brothers: Lyle Wolfe and wife Ann of Butler, Tennessee and Terry Wolfe and wife Deanie of Trade, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Mike Pleasant of Butler, Tennessee and many, many more special friends. It was Jim's wish to be cremated and that no formal service or visitation be held. Private Family Services will be conducted at a later date.
