Obituary for: James C. Sage

 

James C. Sage, age 82, of 4334 Highway 67 West, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away Sunday, November 2, 2008 at the Mountain City Care Center, Mountain City, Tennessee. Mr. Sage was born July 17, 1926 in Bristol, Tennessee, to the late Giles Cecil Sage and Alpha Mae Sluder Sage, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by His wife; Wilma Ida Spaur Sage, two sons; Larry Sage and Leonard Sage, three infant sisters, two brothers, William Sage and Robert Sage. He was of the Baptist faith; he was a former employee of Interstate Vending.

He loved Bluegrass Music, Cooking and Traveling.

 

 He is survived by daughters; Linda Cannon and husband Lance, Mountain City, Tennessee, Lois Haley and husband Kevin, Middletown DE., Lorrie Kilpatrick, New Castle, DE. And Louise Poe and husband, Michael, Kulpmount, PA. Sons; James Sage and companion Kim, Pittsburg, PA Leroy Sage and wife, Carol, Winchester, VA. Luke Sage and wife Ellen of Ranshaw, PA. Sister; Virginia Lewis and husband, Edgar Kirkwood, DE. Very Special Friend his dog Bear. Twenty three grandchildren and Twenty three great grandchildren several nieces and nephews also survive.

 

It was Mr. Sage’s wishes to be cremated and there will be no formal service.
