Jane Ellen (Wills) Ford

Jane Ellen (Wills) Ford, age 80, of Knoxville, Tennessee, and formally of Mountain City (Shouns), Tennessee, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2006 at the Serene Manor Medical Center of Knoxville, Tennessee. She was born on August 6, 1925 in Shouns, Tennessee to the late Roby N. and Gladys (Ward) Wills. Jane was a Johnson County High School graduate and had also attended East Tennessee State University. Following college, Jane worked at the offices of the Walter Reid Veterans Administration Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Jane enjoyed working on crafts, sewing and being with her family and friends. She was a faithful devoted Christian and a member of Roan Creek Baptist Church, where she attended regularly until her health declined. In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband; one sister and two brothers. She is survived by two sisters: Alice Shoun of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and Lucille Forness of Georgia; one brother, Macon R. Wills of Carrollton, Texas; brothers and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services for Jane Ellen (Wills) Ford will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2006 from the Shoun United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug Stidham to officiate. Family and Friends are asked to assemble by 9:45 a.m. at the cemetery for services. Arrangements for Jane Ford are in the care of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home of Mountain City, Tennessee.
