Jean Main

Jean Doris Lawton Main, age 79, of 920 Avery Branch Road, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away peacefully in her sleep Sunday, February 24, 2008 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Gerald Lawton and the late Doris Mitchell Lawton. Her hobbies included painting, gardening, and reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Main, in 2006.

Survivors include: two daughters: Pamela J. Howlett and husband Edson of Deerfield Beach, Florida and Vickie L. Kondras and husband Peter of Mountain City, Tennessee; one son: Bradley C. Main and wife Cindy of Endwell, New York; one brother: Ronald Lawton and wife Patricia of Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and many special friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregivers Pam Byerly, Sandra Blevins, and Jeannie Beach.

It was Ms. Main's wishes to be cremated and no formal service held.
