Jerry Frank Lewis

We are saddened to announce the passing of Jerry Frank Lewis, at the age of 65, who passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022. He was born on February 25, 1957 in West Jefferson, North Carolina, to the late Benjamin Frank Lewis and Velva Marie Smiley. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister Martha Hamm, and nephew Chad Lewis. He liked playing basketball and softball in his younger years and loved watching NASCAR and any sport that was on tv. He also enjoyed spending time with his dogs. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife; Sherry Church Lewis of Wilmington, NC, Daughters; Stephanie Lewis of Wilmington, NC, Miranda Lewis Wulf of Wilmington (Shawn), India Lewis of Wilmington, NC, Son; Chase Lewis, Wilmington, NC, Brother; Larry Lewis (Ruby) of Boone, NC Grandchildren; Tristan (India), Cameron (India), and Aria (Miranda). Many special friends and neighbors also survive. Funeral Service will be conducted from the Hux & Lipford Chapel on Monday August 1st, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Graveside service will follow at Flatwoods Cemetery, NC with Tom Reece officiating.
