Jerry E. Wilson

Jerry Ed Wilson, age 67, of 322 Cross Mountain Road, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 23, 1948 to the late Vivian Nell Wilson Roark and Step-father William Ray Roark Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Ray Bill Roark, Jr.

His hobbies were boating, fishing and trains. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors are wife Sarah McFadden Wilson of the home, daughters: Debbie Johnson and husband Tom Mountain City, TN, Diana Wilson, PA, Ms. Denise Wilson  PA, Makayla Wilson of the home, Ms. Ruthie Hicks and husband Victor, Boone NC, sons: Bradley Wilson of the home, Kenny Lee Mains and wife Lainey, Laurel Bloomery, TN, Tim Mains Mountain City TN, A.J. Russom, Mountain City, TN, B.J. Porter and wife Lisa Mountain City, TN,   grandchildren: Bryson Porter, Daniel Johnson, Collin Dugger, Kaleb Ward, Carson Hicks, Jacob Mains, Tristen Mains. Allie Russom, Chloe Ward, Brianna Mains and Rylee Mains.

One sister; Joan Tedder Fayetteville NC, a special niece, K.K Brown, several nephews and nieces also survive.

The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to Mountain States Hospice, nurse Ivy Tester, and Home Health nurse Kelly Roark.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel with Dr. Gale Hartley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the services. Graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, December 27, 2015 after the service. Active pallbearers will be: B.J Porter, Art Fenner, Ed Gentry, Gary McFadden, Jordan Stout and Doug McFadden. Honorary pallbearers will be: Reid McFadden, Reid Robert McFadden and Fred South.
