Jim Gill

James H. Gill (Jimmy), passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020. Jimmy graduated from Avon Grove High School in West Grove, PA. Following graduation, he attended Spring Garden Institute in Philadelphia, PA. His career centered around automotive sales and repair. Later years, Jimmy had his own tractor and trailer and delivered coast to coast. Jimmy was active in the Avon Grove Little League system in West Grove, PA. He was very active in Highlands Fellowship Church and was a founding leader of The Men’s Group of Highlands Fellowship. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Syliva Tice Gill; one sister, Shirley Daisy; two brothers, Evan and Ronnie Gill. He is survived by his wife, Helen of the Home; two children, Steven and wife Renee of Lincoln University, PA and Lori of Glade Spring, VA.; one sister, Donna McKinney and husband Sam of Meadowview, VA; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Frost Funeral Home with the service following at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Stout officiating. A committal service will follow to Sunset Memorial Park in Mountain City, TN. Serving as pallbearers will be Highlands Fellowship Men’s Group.
