Jimmy D. Price, age 43, of 185 Glenn Drive, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away suddenly on August 29, 2004 at his residence. A native of Elizabethton, Tennessee, he was born on July 29, 1961 to the late R.B. and Jane Stanton Price. Jimmy was an employee of Mountain City Lumber for 18 Years. He enjoyed spending time with his children. Jimmy was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church where he also served as an usher. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 21 years, Eva Gilley Price of the home; three daughters, Mandy Price, Christina and Beth Price all of Mountain City; two sisters, Janet Johnson and husband William and Janice Johnson and husband Lee, all of Mountain City and one brother, Bobby Ray Price Jr. and Wife Avis of Mountain City. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Jimmy will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2004 from the First Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Woods to officiate. Music will be under the direction of Larry and Brenda Barry. Graveside Services and Interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2004 from the Vanover Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Eugene "Bobby" Taylor, Bob Horne, Mike Fritts, Larry Barry, Johnny Taylor and Joe Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jay Evans, Rick Moore, Lee Johnson, William Johnson, Harold Rainbolt and James Stanton. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to services at the Church. At other times, friends may call at the residence.
