Joe Hux

Joe Hux, age 52, of Mountain City, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 at his residence. He was born November 19, 1963 to the late Charles B. Hux III and Iris Hux Greer. Joe was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed working on old cars and especially loved Harley's and Mustangs. He served in the United States Navy. He was a former employee of Percy-Hux Funeral Home and later Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. He most recently worked for Asplundh. Survivors include: his mother; Iris Hux-Greer and stepfather Vance Greer, one son; Christopher Hux, and one sister; Edna Lee Lewis and husband Wayne, all of Mountain City, one nephew; Matthew Lipford and wife Amanda of Blountville, TN, and one niece; Julia Gilsdorf of Longmont, CO.
