John Jeffery Brown

John Jeffery Brown, age 50, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2021. He was born on January 12, 1971 at Banner Elk Hospital in Banner Elk, NC to Jeannie Main and the late Johnny Brown. Jeff was also preceded in death by his sister, Ann Brown, and his wife, Sharon Brown. Those left to cherish his memory include: his mother, Jeannie Main; brother, Cliff Brown; daughters: Heather Brown, Jennifer Newman, Journie Donnelly and Molly Brown; six grandchildren; and special friend, Lynn Lawrence. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Jeff could often be found surrounded by his friends and family. His favorite pastimes were watching Nascar and playing music in his free time. Jeff was an avid carpenter and handyman. He enjoyed fixing everything he could. Due to inclement weather, services for Jeff will be held on March 2nd, 2021 at the Hux & Lipford Funeral Home at 2:00 pm. A private graveside will be held at a later date.
