John David Woodard, age 37, of 702 Miller Road, Trade, Tennessee, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 2, 2006. He was born on June 13, 1969 in Boone, North Carolina to Bobbie Jean Miller Woodard of Trade, Tennessee and the late Ranson David Woodard. In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, PJ and Lillie Miller and paternal grandparents, Newton and Alice Woodard. He enjoyed camping and loved spending time with his children, family and friends. He was a member of God's Country Church. In addition to his mother, Bobbie Jean (Miller -Woodard) Hill, John is survived by his step-father, Marvin Hill, both of Trade, Tennessee; wife, Angela Potter Woodard, of the home; three daughters: Amanda Woodard, Arizona Woodard and Montana Woodard; two sons: Anthony Woodard and Nevada Woodard, all also of the home; two sisters: Yvonne Delp of Trade, Tennessee and Connie Stout of Mountain City, Tennessee and two brothers: Tony Woodard of Trade, Tennessee and Teddy Manuel of Lenoir, North Carolina. Several Nieces, Nephews, Uncles, Aunts and cousins also survive. Funeral Services for John David Woodard will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2006 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Manuel to officiate. Music will also be under the direction of Rev. Ronnie Manuel. The family will receive friends from 5-6:00 p.m. prior to the Service at the funeral home. Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2006 from the Main-Miller Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Chad Greer, Jamie Stout, Chris Cole, Roger Reece, Selmer Humphrey, Bobby Gene Taylor, Mike Lipford and Butler Potter. Honorary Pallbearers are: Tony Woodard, Clyde Miller, Ivey Miller, Rob Perry and Benny Miller. Family, Pallbearers and Friends are asked to assemble by 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, at the Cemetery for Graveside Services. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of sister, Yvonne Delp, Hwy 421 (Behind Woody's fireworks), Trade, Tennessee 37691.
