John H. Hall, age 84, of 185 Hubert Taylor Road, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at the Johnson City Medical Center following a lengthy illness. A native of Johnson County, Tennessee, he was born on October 15, 1920 to the late Clifford and Emma Curd Hall. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by one son, Worley Hall; three sisters: Mary Woods, Blanche Lassorwell and Ruth Hall and two brothers: Maurice Hall and Luke Hall. John was a former employee of the Johnson County Vocational School. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Mountain City Church of Christ, where he was also a former Sunday School Teacher. John is survived by his wife, Faye Hall of the home; one sister, Mae Wright of Vineland, New Jersey and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for John will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2005 from the Hux-Tetrick Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Everette Morefield to officiate. Graveside Services and Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2005 from the Hammons Cemetery. Family and Friends are asked to assemble by 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the Funeral Home to go in procession to the cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Jack Hall, Barton Hall, Steven Hall, Lindsey Wood, Bill Hammons, Tommy Clifton and Paul Sajdak. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Clifford Hall and the Men of the Mountain City Church of Christ. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, prior to Services, at the Hux-Tetrick Funeral Home Chapel. At other times, friends may call at the residence, 185 Hubert Taylor Road, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683. Condolences may be sent to the family through our website at www.hux-tetrick.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683. Hux-Tetrick Funeral Home is serving the Hall Family.
