John Charles Israel

John Charles Israel, age 74, of 1770 Spear Branch Road, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at his residence. He was a native of Hershey, Pennsylvania, but had lived in Abington, Pennsylvania and N. Wales, Pennsylvania. He was born on May 13, 1932, the son of the late Charles Henry Israel and Marion Reihold Israel. He was employed for 43 years at SPS Tech of Jenkintown, Pennsylvania as Quality Assurance Engineer. John was a member of Church of Our Savior of Abington, Pennsylvania. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a Rifle Marksman. John was a Korean War Veteran, having served in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife, Gail Ellis Israel, of the home; two sons: Eric John Israel and Sean Charles Israel, both of Mountain City, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Devon Nicole Israel of Mountain City, Tennessee and many, many special neighbors and friends.
