Johnny Howe Corum

Johnny "J.C." Corum of 5852 Big Dry Run Road of Butler, passed away on March 12 , 2011 at the Life Care Center of Elizabethton. He was born in Chester County, PA. He was the son of the late Jeff Church his stepfather and Ruth Walsh. Johnny was the owner of JC Laundry and a member of Midway Baptist Church. After living in PA and Arizona for years, he returned to Tennessee in 1998. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Billy and Jimmy Corum. Survivors include: Wife: Myrtle Corum Butler, TN Sons: Jody Corum New Bern, NC T.J. Corum Cumming, Ga Jeffery Corum New Jersey Johnny Church Mountain City, TN Daughter: Pam Corum Boone, NC Nine Grandchildren, Two Great Grandchildren, several Nieces and Nephews Special Friend: Allen Howell Funeral services will be 8:00p.m.Monday, March 14, 2011 in the Eastside Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Pastor Greg Thompson will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 14, 2011 prior to the funeral service. Interment and graveside service will be at Rainbow Cemetery on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 11:00a.m. Family and friends may sign the book at Hux-Lipford Funeral Home at anytime. Hux-Lipford funeral Home is in charge of the Corum services.
