Johnny Lee Johnson

We are saddened to announce the passing of Johnny Lee Johnson, on Saturday, June 29, 2024 in the Watauga Medical Center. Johnny was born November 8th, 1979 in Watauga County N.C. to Stephen Paul Johnson and the late Lori Jacqulin Osborne. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his granddad Cecil Johnson and a grandmother Ruby Gilbert. He was a carpenter, and a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church. He loved hunting and fishing and watching hunting movies. In addition to his dad, those left to cherish his memory include his stepmom Cathy Johnson grandmother Mae Jones Johnson daughter, Anna Faith Johnson and son, Mitchell Paul Johnson both of Mountain City TN three step sisters, Brandy Keller (Martin) of Granite Falls, Paula Leeann Nichols and Crystal Blayne Mahala of Warrensville NC brothers, Jason Paul Johnson and Scotty Joe Johnson of Mountain City aunts Jane Johnson Smith of Jonas Ridge NC, Tammy Mcelyea of Mountain City, uncles Keith Johnson and Gary Johnson of Mountain City, and several nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly also survive It was Johnny’s wish to be cremated. Services will be held at a later date.
