Johnny Golden South

Johnny Golden South, born September 11, 1962, passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 63.

Johnny was a hardworking man who spent his entire working life logging lumber. Outside of work, he enjoyed the things that brought him happiness. He had a deep love for drag racing, enjoyed fishing and spending time around animals, and especially enjoyed watching his son, Cody, play football.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll South and Shirley South, and his brothers, Gary South and Frankie South.

He is survived by his son, Cody Bryant; his two beloved granddaughters; and his siblings, Gene South, Jimmy South, David South, and Rebecca South.

Johnny will be remembered by his family and friends for the life he lived, the things he loved, and the memories he leaves behind.

In accordance with his wishes, Johnny will be cremated. A private graveside service will be held at the cemetery with family and friends who wish to attend.
