Joleen Leshawn Houston

Joleen LeShawn Houston, age 27, of 9071 Hwy. 421 North, Trade, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2004 at the Johnson City Medical Center after an extended illness. Ms. Houston was a native of Newport News, Virginia and was born on July 1, 1975 to Oran and Shirley Coleman Houston of Trade, Tennessee. She was a member of New Creation Church and attended Gloucester Christian Academy. Her best friend and companion was Beanie the Dog. She was preceded in death by her sister, Eunice Houston Kellum on April 15, 2002. Survivors: In addition to her parents, (4) Sisters: Melba Paynter, Hampton, VA Linda Buenfil, Trade, TN Patty Pollard, Trade, TN Jamey Dowless, Trade, TN Several Nieces and Nephews Hux-Lipford Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements. Funeral services for Joleen LeShawn Houston will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Margaret Sallie to officiate. Entombment will be in the Sunset Mausoleum of Love. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home.
