Jose P. Zorola

Jose P. Zorola, age 64, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 31, 2005, at his residence, 444 Cross Mountain Road, Mountain City, TN. Mr. Zorola was born August 1, 1941, in Brownsville, TX where he served the public with heroism and pride as a Brownsville Fire Fighter for over 25 years. He was a member of the Lion's Club, of the Baptist Faith, and enjoyed fishing, flea marketing, and reading books. He is survived by his parents, Victoria Zorola of Brownsville, TX, and Jose A. Zorola of Villa Park, CA; his wife Nancy Parker Zorola, Mountain City, TN; former wife Elena R. Zorola, Brownsville, TX; Five Daughters: Cristina Sustaeta and husband , Jorge, Brownsville, TX; Carolina Norman and husband Greg, San Diego, CA; Catarina Harrison and husband Robert, Houston, TX; Cynthia Cardenas and husband Viro; Cristelena Zorola, both of Brownsville, TX; four sons: Jose R. Zorola of Boston, Mass; Jaime Zorola and wife Kathy; Corpus Zorola, both of Brownsville, TX; Juan Zorola, Mountain City, TN, and his half-brother, Joe Robert Zorola and wife Lesley, Villa Park, CA. Twelve grandchildren also survive. The Zorola family will receive friends from 1 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2005, from the Hux-Tetrick Funeral Home, 300 W. Main Street, Mountain City, TN, 37683. Graveside services will follow from the Sunset Memorial Park, Mountain City, TN with Mr. Richard Stout and members of the Mountain City Fire Department and Johnson County Fire Departments officiating. Pallbearers will be Members of the Mountain City Fire Department. Honorary Pallbearers will be Members of Johnson County Fire Departments. An additional memorial service will be held in Brownsville, TX at a later date.
