Joyce Ann Coffey

Joyce Ann Coffey, age 64 of 8107 Highway 91 N, Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2006 at her residence following a brief illness. She was a native of Johnson County and was born on April 26, 1942 to the late Clyde D. and Ellen H. Price Howard. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her son Mike Coffey. She was a former employee of Levi Strauss of Mountain City, Tennessee and Thomasville Furniture Co of Lenoir, North Carolina. She was of the Baptist faith. Joyce is survived by one sister, Margaret Icenhour and husband Warren of Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania; one brother, Carroll Howard and wife Gertrude, of Abingdon, Virginia and several nieces and nephews also survive Services for Joyce Ann Coffey will be held at 3:00 p. m. Thursday, December 21, 2006 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Campbell to officiate. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park Pallbearers will be: Matthew Howard, Andrew Howard, Paul Greer, Cecil Price, Michael Stevens and Ray Howard. The family will receive friends from 1:45 p. m. until 2:45 p. m. Thursday, December 21, at the funeral home prior to the Services.
