June Hutchinson

Laura "June" Hutchinson, age 82, of 176 Hutchinson Road, Shady Valley, TN passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014 in Mountain City Care Center. She was born June 16, 1931 to the late Oren Campbell and Minnie Campbell. June was a member of Harmon Chapel Christian Church. Her hobbies included "collections", jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, and she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Home Demonstration Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Survivors include: Jim Hutchinson, her husband of 66 years, of the home; three daughters: Donna Davis and husband Cliff of Williamsburg, VA; Debbie Gladwell and husband Yates of Summerfield, NC and Sherry Booher and husband Mitch; two sons: Barry Hutchinson and wife Kimberly of Monument, CO and Brian Hutchinson and wife Melissa of Shady Valley, TN; one sister: Louise Hawthorne of Elliston, VA; one sister-in-law: Jane Hutchinson of Shady Valley, TN; two brothers: Ed Campbell and Bobby Campbell both of Damascus, VA. Eight grandchildren: Adrienne Henderson, Courtney Martinez, Tyler Hutchinson, Lindsey Hutchinson, Tucker Hutchinson, Zachary Hutchinson, Emily Hutchinson and Garrett Hutchinson; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for June Hutchinson will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2014 from Harmon Chapel Christian Church with Ministers Howard Taylor and Jim Sherman officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment will be in at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2014 in Blevins Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Terry Hutchinson, Randy Hutchinson, Mike Averill, Huey Long, Lowell Hutchinson and Travis Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Hutchinson and the Men of Harmon Chapel Christian Church. The family wishes to extend appreciation and gratitude to Mountain City Care Center for the care given to June. At other times friens may call at the residence, 176 Hutchinson Road, Shady Valley, TN.
