Junior Dean Campbell

Junior Dean Campbell, age 60, of Lenoir, N.C., passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2006, at the Watauga Medical Center, Boone, NC. He was born November 2, 1945 to the late Roscoe Campbell and Mary Stout Greer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Pat Dunn; one brother, Ricky Greer and his stepfather, Junior Greer. He is survived by his wife, Anita Gentry Campbell, of the home; two sons: John Campbell and wife Denise of Mountain City, TN and Michael Campbell of Lenoir, NC; two sisters: Shirlene Moore of Mountain City, TN and Betty Potter of Elizabethton, TN; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Junior Dean Campbell were conducted at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, July 9, 2006 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Manuel and Rev. Frank Woods officiating. Music was also under the direction of Rev. Ronnie Manuel. Graveside Services and Interment followed from the Cress Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Dennis Moore, Keith Stanley, Donald Stanley, Joey Campbell, Josh Bentley, Dustin Stanley, Junior Gentry and Jake Gentry. Friends may also call at the residence of his son, John Campbell, 130 Hawkins Lane, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683 or the residence of a sister, Shirlene Moore, 102 Gambill Springs Road, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
