Junior R. Gilley

Junior R. Gilley, Age 62, of 924 Medical Park Drive-Apt. 201, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital of Elizabethton. A native of Shady Valley, Tennessee, he was born July 24, 1941 to the late Elmer Hagy and Viola Campbell-Gilley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Knight; one brother, Alvin Gilley and a niece, Kay Gilley. Junior was a former employee of Kincaid Furniture until his disability. He was of the Baptist Faith. Junior is survived by one brother, Elmer Gilley and wife Florence of the home, two nieces, one nephew and many friends also survive. Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2004 from the Shady Valley Memorial Gardens (Gentry Cemetery), Shady Valley, Tennessee, with Mr. Jim Hutchinson to officiate. Family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. -2:00 p.m. prior to Services at the Cemetery. At other times, friends may call at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elmer Gilley, c/o Hux-Lipford Funeral Home, 300 W Main Street, Mountain City, Tennessee, to help with funeral expenses.
