Junior Franklin Mccoy

Junior Franklin McCoy, age 75, of 399 Laurel Road, Mountain City, TN entered into eternal rest, Thursday, April 7, 2005 at the Mountain City Care Center following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Freeburn, Kentucky and was born October 29, 1929 to the late Millard F. and Anna Bell Corum McCoy. He was also preceded in death by a son Frank McCoy, who passed away in 1996, and several brothers and sisters. He was of the Southern Baptist faith , a member of Vaughts Gap Baptist Church and attended many times at Dyson Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Elizabeth Cornett McCoy of the home, three daughters: Anna Elizabeth McCoy of Knoxville, TN, Susan Denise McCoy of Sevierville, TN and Debra Sue McCoy of Mountain City,TN, three sisters: Ruby Garland of Butler, TN, Colleen Fletcher of Mountain City, TN and Magdalene Cook of PA, six grandchildren: Kevin Guy, Leslie Ann Tidwell, Amanda Bumgardner, Brandon James McCoy, D. J. Flannery and Brian Allen McCoy, special great granddaughter; Calista Cruea, several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p. m. Tuesday, April 12, 2005 from the Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. Frank Johnson officiating. Friends may call at the family residence, 399 Laurel Road, Mountain City, TN 37683 at anytime.
