Karen G. Stike

Karen G. Stike, age 49, of 1426 Deep Ford Road, Lansing, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at the Ashe Memorial Hospital. A native of Lansing, North Carolina, she was born on September 26, 1956 to Louise Woodard Forrester and the late Conley Forrester. She was an employee of United Chemi-con. Karen was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church. In addition to her mother, Karen is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Stike of Warrensville, North Carolina; two sisters, Evelyn Dancy and husband Ronda of Zionville, North Carolina and Teresa Roberts and husband Arnold of Piney Flats, Tennessee; one brother, Floyd Forrester and wife Nancy of Shady Valley, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Karen will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2004 from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Pastor Sean Brigman to officiate. Graveside Services and Interment will follow from the Sunset Memorial Park, Mountain City, Tennessee. Active Pallbearers will be: Shawn Forrester, Sammuel Billing, Ronda Dancy, Josh Roberts, Jonathan Roberts, Arnold Roberts and Jerry Stike.
