Kathleen Joanne Sawyer

Kathleen Joanne Sawyer, age 56, of 148 Hillside Road, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday May 29, 2019, at the residence following an extended illness. She was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on February 7th, 1963, to Oscar T. McDonald and Helene Turcotte. Kathleen was a member of St Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church.  She loved reading, movies, enjoying time with family, especially her grandchildren, crocheting, and painting.    Survivors are her husband: Michael Sawyer of the home; daughters, Christina Salaices, Jennifer Sawyer, and Stephanie Brown; sister, Maureen Boucher; grandchildren; Ethan Salaices, Evan Salaices Ariel Salaices, Mason Brown, and Roman Kenney; nephew, Justin Boucher also survive. Special Friends Wendy Hoffman, Paul Bates, Justin and Bonnie Eckert, and Tammy Sheppard. Funeral Mass for Kathleen Sawyer will be conducted on Thursday June 6th, 2019, at 10 am in the Charles B. Hux Chapel of Hux Lipford Funeral Home. Father Dennis Kress will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday June 5, 2019, from 5 pm until 7 pm in the Charles B Hux Memorial Chapel. Pallbearers will be Michael Sawyer, Jeremy Tester, Paul Bates, Brandon Salaices, Brad Hawes, and Justin Eckert.  Honorary Pallbearer Gerald Sawyer.
