Kaylene "Faye" Trivette Reece passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 in Winston Salem, North Carolina following a short illness and hospitalization. She was born November 14, 1934 in Zionville, North Carolina to Charles Trivette and Myrtle Eggers Trivette. She wed Norman Berl Reece (passed in 1980). They lived for a while in Fort Jackson, SC and many years in Cleveland, Ohio before returning to what she referred to as God's country in Zionville, NC. Faye leaves behind one son, Ronald Norman Reece of WA; one daughter, Kaylene Elizabeth Reece of Zionville, NC; granddaughter, Jesse Marie Reece Kaufman and husband Daniel of Seattle, WA; one grandson, Shane Norman Reece; one brother, Charles (Blaine) Trivette and wife Willa Price Trivette of Trade, TN; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special niece and nephew Daniel and Nora Russom; step-son, Claude Ruston Wright III "Rusty" of SC and other extended family members and friends. and extended family who she loved very much and many friends and her church community at Zionville Baptist Church. Faye was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Gabrielle Lucinda Reece (1989-2009) of Wake Forest, NC; sister, Myrle Trivette Isenhour of Bristol, VA; sister, Shirley Lilly of Bristol, TN; sister, Earle Lawrence of Trade, TN; niece, Heather Baumgardner of Zionville, NC. Funeral service for Faye will be conducted Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Zionville Baptist Church with Ray Branch officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. A graveside service will follow in Zionville Baptist Church Cemetery.
