Kimberly Lee

Listen to Obituary

Kim grew up in Johnson County and graduated from Johnson County High School. From a young age, she loved nature. Spending much of her childhood outdoors with her brothers and male cousins, she developed a strength and resilience that would define her throughout her life. She loved remote wooded places and was always searching for a home among nature, as far from a paved road as possible.

Kim was always willing to lend a hand, no matter who needed it. Her dedication to helping others was remarkable, but her unwavering support and devotion to her family is what will be remembered and admired most.

She embraced natural beauty, wearing her hair naturally and reserving makeup only for special occasions. She instilled that appreciation for authenticity and natural beauty in those around her, especially her daughters. Rather than spending her time on appearances, she poured her energy into gardening, caring for animals, operating a car repair business alongside her husband, Dale, and most importantly, raising her three children: Alura Boyer, Celia Lee, and Hayden “Pinky” Lee.

Kim passed away at the age of 47 in Johnson City, surrounded by her daughters, Celia and Hayden, her husband Dale, and her niece. She was a fearless warrior for Jesus and made her faith known until her final moments. Despite the suddenness of her passing, she comforted her daughters, telling them not to fear or be angry, for the Lord had this day written in her bones.

She is survived by her husband, Dale; her daughters, Alura Boyer, Celia Lee, and Hayden “Pinky” Lee; her mother, Evelyn Lipford; her brothers, Glenn Lipford, John Lipford, and Jay Miller; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, friends, and loved ones who were blessed by her generous, helpful, and loving spirit.

Kim’s legacy lives on through the lives she touched, the family she cherished, and the faith she carried with strength and grace. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

She was like to rest in a private ceremony in the Lee Cemetery.
