Kimberly Marshall

May 18, 1957 — February 25, 2010

Kimberly Grayson Marshall, age 52 of 620 Stage Coach Loop, Mountain City, TN passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Watauga Medical Center, Boone, NC. She was the daughter of Thomas Grayson and the late Mary Everett Grayson. She was a member of Liberty Christian Church, Eastern Star and Music Club. Her hobbies included stained glass, scrapbooking, horseback riding and she especially enjoyed spending time with her husband and sons. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sally Everett and best friend Arby Rankin.

 

In addition to her father, Thomas Grayson, she is survived by : her husband, Steve of the home; sons: Matthew Stout, Steven Marshall and wife, Danae, and Terry Marshall and wife, Meghan, all of Mountain City, TN; two sisters: Eve Grayson of Mountain City, TN and Sally Grayson Watson and husband Keith of Lewisville, NC; one brother, Todd Grayson and wife Melody of Mountain City, TN; grandchildren: Tanner Marshall, Sawyer Marshall and Jordan Burgess; nieces and nephews: Christopher Watson of Lewisville, NC, Patrick Grayson, Holly Grayson and Gracie Grayson all of Mountain City, TN; special friends: Sandy Anderson, Janet Payne, Ann Wolfe, Cindy Millhorne, Marsha Thomas, and many others.

 

The family would like to extend a note of gratitude and thanks to Dr.Rolland Barrett and staff and LeAnne Shaefner, PA and staff at Forsyth Medical Center and Regional Cancer Center of Winston-Salem, NC. 

 

A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, February 28, 2010 at 7:00 pm from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel with Ken Caraway and Jim Hutchinson officiating. Pallbearers will be “Big Brother” Todd Grayson and Jimmy Everett. An inurnment will be held in Mountain View Cemetery at 11:00 am Monday, March 1, 2010. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm prior to the memorial service.

 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Johnson County Cancer Support Group, % Flo Bellamy, 3510 Hwy. 421 N, Mountain City, TN 37683.
