Larry James Corum Sr.

Larry James Corum Sr., age 52, of Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee passed away October 19, 2003. He was a native of Laurel Bloomery and was born July 12, 1951 to the late Lewis Corum and Thelma Corum Fritts. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter; Emily Sarie Corum. He was a carpenter by trade, enjoyed hunting and fishing and was of the Christian faith. Larry is survived by his son Jamie Corum and wife Sonia, one granddaughter; Tynae Marie Corum, two brothers; Junior Corum and Jerry Corum both of Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee, three sisters; Caroline Brown of Mountain City, Tennessee, Deloris Owens of Damascus, Virginia and Judy Martinez of Washington State, three nieces and seven nephews. Funeral Services will be held 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2003 from the Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Bowers and Pastor Steve Spratlin to officiate. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. prior to services. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 23, 2003 at the Cornett Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Martin, Greg Yates, Charlie Brown, Henry Lee Neely, Doyle Carlson and Mark Carlson. Honorary Pallbearers are Steve Carlson, Ronnie Slagle, Charlie Martin, Jerry Weaver and Warren Roop.
