He was the son of James Farmer and the late Lois Farmer. He was a native of Ashe County, NC, a member of the Farmers Memorial Baptist Church, Lansing, NC. He was a truck driver; hobbies were fishing and hunting. In addition to his Mother, a brother, Randy Farmer and a Grandson Isaac Wayne Farmer, preceded him in death. . M. Wednesday, July 11, 2012, from Farmers Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Joe Farmer, Rev. Spencer Roark and Rev. Denton Hart officiating. Pallbearers will be Johnny Farmer, Eric Medley, Jeff Parsons, Ryan Parsons, Rick Farmer, Ray Farmer,and Jacob Medley. Graveside Service will follow in the Farmers Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
