He was the son of James Farmer and the late Lois Farmer. He was a native of Ashe County, NC, a member of the Farmers Memorial Baptist Church, Lansing, NC. He was a truck driver; hobbies were fishing and hunting. In addition to his Mother, a brother, Randy Farmer and a Grandson Isaac Wayne Farmer, preceded him in death. . Survivors: Father and Step-Mother James and Janie Farmer, Lansing, NC One Daughter: Amanda Farmer, Parlier, NC One Son: James "Jamie" Farmer, Millers Creek, NC Three Grandchildren: Rebecca Ann Farmer, Nevaeh Faw and Ryland Faw One Sister: Katherine Doty, Lansing, NC One Step-sister: Sherrie Richardson, West Jefferson, NC Two Brothers: Rev. Danny Joe Farmer, Creston, NC, Jimmy Farmer, Grassy Creek, NC One Step-Brother: Jeff Parsons, Lansing, NC Special Caregiver: Donna Bouchelle Several Nieces and Nephews Funeral Services for Larry Wayne Farmer will be conducted at 2:00 P. M. Wednesday, July 11, 2012, from Farmers Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Joe Farmer, Rev. Spencer Roark and Rev. Denton Hart officiating. Pallbearers will be Johnny Farmer, Eric Medley, Jeff Parsons, Ryan Parsons, Rick Farmer, Ray Farmer,and Jacob Medley. Graveside Service will follow in the Farmers Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P. M. Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at the Heroes Chapel of the Johnson County Funeral Home.
