Mrs. Laura Jaye McGuire Fox, age 32, of 4905 Holston Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 29th 2004 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Mrs. Fox was born November 24th 1971 in Bristol, Tennessee but had made her home in Mountain City, Tennessee all of her life prior to moving to Knoxville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandfather Fred Beckett, and her Paternal Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. S.L. McGuire. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mountain City Tennessee. Mrs. Fox was a 1990 Graduate of Johnson County High School, and a 1995 Graduate of E.T.S.U. having received a B.S. in Interior Design. Mrs. Fox was the Design Director of Bluegreen Purchasing & Design Company of Knoxville, TN. Survivors: Husband: David Fox, of the home. Parents: Bill and Judy Beckett McGuire, Mountain City, Tennessee. Brother: Patrick McGuire, and wife, Laurie, Felts Mills, N.Y. Maternal Grandmother: Maxine Beckett, Winter Garden, Florida. Several Aunts and Uncles, Nieces and Nephews also survive. Hux-Lipford Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements. Funeral services for; Mrs. Laura Jaye McGuire Fox, will be conducted on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Morris and Rev, Margaret Owens-Yates to officiate. The Family will receive friends 12:15 until 1:45 p.m. prior to services in the Church Fellowship Hall. Private Family Committal Services will follow in the Donnelly Cemetery. Pallbearers will be:, Jamie Church, Chase Dier, Zachary Dier, Mike Feistner, Clay Savery, Will Savery, Eddie Sheehan and Tom Sheehan Honorary Pallbearers will be: Benson Crotts, Danny Cunningham, Robert Cunningham, Kenny Davenport, Nelson Gray, Todd Grayson, Stedman Greever, Matthew Hawkins, Sam McGuire, Tom McGuire, Micheal Phagan, Joe Savery and Bill Trathen Friends may call at the residence, of her parents Bill and Judy McGuire,1018 North Church Street Mountain City, Tennessee at anytime.
