Lena Clayton Caulder September 24, 2013 Mrs. Lena Clayton Caulder, age 90 of Mountain City, TN, formerly of Laurel Hill passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. A Graveside service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the Wright Cemetery in Laurel Hill. Lena was born May 21, 1923 in Murphy, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Frank and Cora Hancock Clayton and the devoted wife to the late Wheeler Wilson Caulder. She dedicated her life to loving and caring for her family. She formerly attended Peele's Chapel Wesleyan Church and before her illness, Lena enjoyed gardening and crocheting. She truly loved sharing time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughters, Virginia Caulder Peele and Pauline Caulder; a granddaughter, Tracy Pauline Peele and all of her siblings. Mrs. Caulder is survived by her grandchildren, Brian Wheeler Peele and wife Tammy of Mountain City, TN, Tammy Peele Pleasant and husband Jimmy of Laurinburg, Hope Peele Burrow and husband Tim of Laurinburg; son-in-law, Robert Peele of Mountain City, TN; six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephew.
