Lenore K. Dillon, age 98, passed away March 22, 2006 and is now "Safe in the Arms of Jesus, Safe on his gentle Breast" She has joined her husband, John Dillon who died in 1997 at the age of 93. She was a native of Loundonville, Ohio and born to William H. and Elizabeth (Etzwiler) Frank. Preceeding her in death where brothers, Karl, Richard and Robert Frank of Ohio,two nephews, one son-in-law Harlan Dailey, CA Survivors include one son and wife, John William and Patricia Dillon of Tampa, Florida, One Daughter, Louise D. Dailey of Mountain City, one granddaughter and husband Cheryl A. and Clifton G. Worley, one great grandson, Adam C. Worley all of Mountain City. One first cousin, James Etzwiler of Ashland, Ohio, several nieces and nephews, two sisters-in-law, Alice Dillon Rogers, Statesville, NC and Margaret Dillon of Mountain City. Special friend, "Cindy" her Yorkie, who provided much enjoyment and laughter. Lenore was a wonderful mother and was a master homemaker, She loved growing vegetables and flowers. She had an unique way of decorating with flower petals on furniture, glass and stationery and giving them to friends and family. She and her husband loved writing poetry and had several poems published. In 1995 they moved to Mountain City from Stow, Ohio where they lived for fifty four years. She was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Akron, Ohio but attended other churches. The family wishes to thank Mountain City Care Center for their loving care and professionalism for these past three years. Also a big "thank you" to Preacher Jim Hutchinson who visited every day! It was her wish for her body to be cremated and that there be no services. Her family respected her wish. Memorial contributions may be made to the Expansion Fund of First Christian Church, Mountain City, TN.
