Lersa Diane Ward Hodge (Lesa)

Lersa Diane Ward Hodge (Lesa) passed away on February 17, 2026 after a lengthy illness. Lesa was born on October 5, 1962 in Elizabethton, TN to Marrson Sue Greenwell Ward and Bob D. Ward. Lesa liked to sew, garden, can, and spend time with her friends and family.

Lesa is preceded in death by her son Jerry Dean Hodge, Jr. Her parents Marrson Sue Greenwell Ward, and Bob D. Ward. Siblings Rick Ward, Tim Ward, and Debra Hatley. Grandparents Elsie Greenwell, and Tine Greenwell. Several special aunts and uncles.

Lesa is survived by ex-husband Jerry Hodge. Daughter Casey (Coty) James. Grandchildren Jordan (Josephine), Kaitlyn, and Makenzie James. Great granddaughter June James. Special aunts Beth Smith and Linda Hatley. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be a celebration of life for Lesa on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Bakers Gap Cemetery at 1:00 PM weather permitting. Her ashes will be buried with her son, Jerry Dean Hodge, Jr.
